This feature only works on the latest version of the eBay app (5.39 or newer for iOS; and 5.40 or newer for Android).

For iOS users:

This feature is compatible with the following devices: iPhone 6S / 6S Plus or later, iPad (2017 or later), iPad Mini 4 or later, iPad Air 2, iPad Air (2019 or later), all iPad Pro models.  

This feature is not compatible with the following devices: iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Air, due to their technical processing limitations.

For Android users:

This feature is compatible with the following devices which support ARM64:

Samsung: Note 10, Note 10+, Note 9, Note ,8 Galaxy S10, Galaxy S9, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6

Google (LG/Huawei): Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Pixel, Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 3A, Pixel 4

OnePlus: OnePlus 2, OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T

Huawei: P9, Mate 10, P20, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, P30, P30 Pro

We are exploring bringing the tool to desktop but do not have timelines to share at this time. Thank you

I have a Samsung Galaxy10, I already have the Ebay app on my phone, but could not use this new feature to remove background? I re-downloaded the ebay app on my phone, downloaded a new picture to an existing listing, but no button found to remove background?

How do I access this new feature as I really could benefit from it.

The android update is rolling out throughout this week with 100% coverage by early next week. The tool should be available by then. Thank you
