Counterfeit LISTINGS

I JUST BOUGHT TWO Counterfeit STAMPS ON EBAY, AND THEY WERE LISTED AS COUNTERFEIT, AND I WAS HAPPY TO GET THEM.

US Revenue Periodical/Newspaper PR3 & PR4 COUNTERFEIT

DO YOU THINK THEY SHOULD BE BANNED ON EBAY?

THEY GO IN MY REFERENCE COLLECTION.

Re: Counterfeit LISTINGS

Many Newspaper stamps marked "Falsch" or "Replica" or Reproduction", etc. are of course fine - as are any reproductions clearly marked.  The issue is with postal counterfeits intended to defraud the USPS and with counterfeits intended to defraud collectors.  I don't see Chinese efforts to defraud collectors of US Stamps (but the Chinese stamp market is awash with such items!), but l do think Chinese origin postal counterfeits are an issue that should be taken much more seriously.

Re: Counterfeit LISTINGS

Thanks Roger for finding the exact code section.

Now I hope you and everyone who has been posting here about "Chinese fakes" (sic) takes action and files complaints with the USPS, instead of just talking here about it.  Endless posts hashing the same points, if you are concerned, now you have a clear path to doing something constructive.

Good luck!
