Hello Silverteem and friends.
I know it has been a while. I have been busy at work; trying to get everything organized in time for when my employer returns from holidays.
I wanted to take a moment to join in recognition of this important day, and to acknowledge the true meaning of Good Friday.
Our hero wrongly lost his life on this day; and he did so for us all.
Lynn; thank you for sharing your story on welcoming your new family member, Tia.
You've made Good Friday just a little bit easier for us.

Just a quick update on my youngest son: He went to the specialist this morning to have his fractured nose checked out. The doctor, who is a nose surgeon, says that he doesn't think that he has to break the nose. He wants my son to go back on Tuesday afternoon with his x-ray films so he can check them to make sure. He did tell my son that his nose may take 7 - 8 weeks to completely heal. He prescribed some medicine for his sinus infection.

Greetings dear ones, it is Easter time again and I would like to share the following verses with you.
Peter addressed the men of Judea and all that dwell at Jerusalem and here from these verses are these wonderful words:
Ac 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Ac 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Ac 2:23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
Ac 2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
From these verses we are certain that God knew about the Fall in the Garden of Eden even before it happened and that the Godhead had determined that God, in the second person of the Lord Jesus Christ would become man and do what no man could do because the human race is born in iniquity and sin, in that he was and is sinless. He condemned sin in the flesh by taking on a human form and offered himself, a once and for all sacrifice for sin unto a Holy God. He, Christ finished the work by dying
in our stead upon the Cross and taking upon himself our sins and for every true believer he is their Saviour and their Lord.
He was the perfect, spotless, lamb of God. Death nor the grave could hold him and he rose from the dead and was received back into heaven according to the Scriptures so that we and all true believers can say, Hallelujah what a Saviour!

The following is written by Darrell Creswell as he puts it, just a servant with a laptop, sharing stories of love, hope and comfort
Malachi 4:2 The Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in its wings
The Son of God has healing in His wings like the sun, beaming rays of healing to His children. Christ Jesus our Lord is the Great Physician. He came to heal the diseases and sickness of all mankind. He heals the diseases of His children and forgives all their sins. This healing was provided by His blood and the stripes that were laid upon His back. The pardon of sin and the provision of healing are provided by the blood of Christ. The pardon from sin with healing promised and delivered is universal, infallible, and free. All we need do is ask and believe.
Sun of my soul, my Savior dear
It is not night if you are near
May no earth-born storms arise
To hide You from your servant’s eyes
When the soft dews of kindly sleep
My wearied eyelids gently steep
Be my last thought how sweet to rest
Forever on my Savior’s breast
Abide with me from morning till eve
For without you I cannot breathe
Abide with me when night is nigh
For without You I dare not die
If some poor wandering child of Thine
Has spurned today the voice divine
Lord let Your gracious work begin
Let them no more lie down in sin
Watch by the sick and enrich the poor
With blessings from Your boundless store
Be every mourner’s sleep tonight
Like a babe at sleep, pure and light
Come near and bless me when I wake
While through this world my way I make
Until in the ocean of Your love
I lose myself in heaven above
Christ and Christ alone can forgive our sins. It is Christ and Christ alone who can heal all our infirmities. Jesus Christ in His mercy and His grace reaches out and rescues us from the decay of our sin. He fills us with a new life and a new joy—He redeems us, clothing us in His righteousness. Let us rejoice in this and enjoy the SONSHINE.

Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yea, all I need in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Hath broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, of that free love
The breadth, length, depth, and height to prove,
Here for a season, then above,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Our God and heavenly Father we thank you with all of our hearts for your Son our Lord Jesus Christ for his ever coming to this earth as a child and growing up as a man.
Thank you our God that he died for our sins and that he finished the work and was completely obedient unto thy will upon the Cross. Thank you our God that he is RISEN INDEED and all power, and glory and majesty is His, domination and sovereign right to rule and to reign and one day he is coming back again and this time not as Saviour but as JUDGE.
Our God and father the truth of the hymn Just as I am, is so amazing and all because of our Lord Jesus Christ, that he should ever deign to bid us to come, is so truly wonderful to us. It thrills our souls, it fills us with hope anew and encourages us to continually resort unto Him who is life eternal and who holds the future in his hands.
He knows his sheep by name, he knows each one intimately and he know each and every changing scene of our lives and bids us come.
Just as I am, of that free love
The breadth, length, depth and height to prove,
Here for a season, then above,
O Lamb of God I come, I come!
And we believe that whatever we face, whatever each new day may bring that we can prove your love and know that nothing will ever separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We thank you our gracious God for Jesus Christ who loved us and gave himself for us. In his wonderful name Amen

My precious Carole, thank you for the recent cancer update, bless your precious heart! As you know, you have my heartfelt prayers! It was so great talking with you today!!! With God, all things are possible! Like you said, He has a plan for you in all this, and it will glorify Him. We are all here with you thru it! I praise God for Eternity! What would we do without our God and His mighty plan for us!
Precious little Ginny, bless your precious little hurting heart! Good news! If those people were believers, they are truly forgiven! Jesus said, “It is finished”. He took it all on the cross. If they believed and received that, it is truly finished! Isn’t that the best news? Love you, dear one!!!
Lynnie, little Tia is a cutie pie! So happy for her and you!
Roger, I’m so happy for you! I have to say that I’m feeling wonderful these days too! Can hardly believe it!
Debbie, keep in total surrender to Him, trust in Him alone, He adores you!
Audrey dear, thank you for posting precious things about our wonderful and true Savior Jesus!
UPDATE on myself... found out one of my eye meds I’ve been on for 10 yrs is a beta blocker and does terrible things to the body. I got off it by accident and I have not felt this great in YEARS!!! Dr gave me another med to try. The side effects are manageable, so we’ll see if it keeps my eye pressure down. I thank God often for this new lease on life!
