Feel Good Story Of The Day... Terre-Haute, Indiana

A dog named Ben found some romance at the humane society, and as “Fox & Friends” reports Ben ran away to find his mate whom he fell in love with before getting adopted. The Tribune-Star adds the Lawler family knew Ben would run away again if they did not adopt his mate, Jade, as well. And as WTWO reports, Courtney and Jason Lawler ended up adopting both dogs so they could live together for good.

Sending a big huge prayer...

Good morning, Everyone.  Prayers needed for my youngest son.  He got called into work during yesterday's winter storm here in NJ.  Last night, while he was being trained in a tandem vehicle salting Rt. 295, he and his trainer were rear-ended by an 18 wheeler tractor trailer.  That driver had fallen asleep and told police he was driving at 55 miles per hour.  My son was in the passenger seat and his trainer was driving the salter.  They were both taken to the hospital.  Youngest son has a fractured nose.

I have been selling on ebay for nine years but this last few years my depression and rough times have brought me to my knees. I have been selling on my ebay "stuff" in yard sales for last month mostly because I really needed the money. I am being forced out of my home and have no where to go. I have to be out on the 31st and I do not get my check until the 1st. I am trying to stay strong and believe God has my back. I hate my home so it is really not my home. I have had a slum landlord and the house in horrible condition. I still have alot of stuff left and it is suppose to rain this weekend so looks like now I'm stuck. I really don't know what to do and hoping for a miracle of some kind even if its not the one I want. I love this board but have not been able to access it with my new laptop. God bless you all.

Prayers, if you can, for 3 children of God who passed away...

My ex, Steve, 03-03-13... from the Early Onset Alzheimers...- that he is forgiven all his transgressions.

My friend, Jan, 03-15-13 ... from Cancer- that she is gorgiven for harming her body w/ cigarettes

My friend, Joe, in July 2012 ... gunshot murder- that he is forgiven for all his worldly sins

~ All 3 were believers, so, I ask your prayers that Jesus forgives them,and allows them into Paradise...

Youngest son has an appointment with the nose specialist tomorrow morning at 9:45.  The damage to his nose is effecting his breathing (along with his sinus infection).

Keeping prayer requests.

Another dog story.  My Choopie dog left us a month ago and I have been so very lonely.  I wanted a dog that needed me.  I have been checking around and I called animal control in a city 100 miles south of me.  After speaking with this nice guy for while, he realized that I was offering a wonderful home and he said that about 6 months ago a family moved to Florida and just dumped their little 5-year-old chihuhua.  Another workerm recused her and has been fostering her while looking for that perfect forever home.  I told the guy to gie her my number and email and I had mentioned where I live and he told me that this may be "one of those things".  He told me that this girl's mom & dad live in Hillman, just north of me and are coming to their daughter's for Easter dinner.  On their way home, they will be driving just about past my house.  They are bringing her to me on Sunday evening.  She is a spayed female who has obviously suffered a big traumatic experience but loves to play and is a cuddler.  She told me that she is used to having steps to get up on the bed and wants to touch her person while sleeping and I told her that I already have the stairs.  Easter Sunday ~ a perfect day for new beginnings!

Meet Tia ~

Went today and got dog food, rawhide chews as she said that Tia loved those and also got a new black collar and brush for her.  She is coming with her toys and a bunch of stuff.  She is spayed and up-to-date on all shots.  I also wanted an older dog, as they stand less of a chance.  Just wanted a dog that needs me as much as I need her.

We will be getting her after Easter dinner with Melanie, Bob and the grandkids.  A special day for us all. :-x
