Hello all. I see listings for the empty display boxes for the banned Lawn Jarts going for $75-$100. Is this a way to bypass eBay by listing the box only and the buyer-in-the-know knowing that this includes the jarts? Thank you in advance

I don't think that there is a secret here, if the seller is selling an empty lawn dart box, "box only, empty box only", then that's what the buyer gets; an empty cardboard box, considered a collector item for someone, if the buyer thinks otherwise, they still get an empty box!

I don't know how anyone would know, so I agree with the last poster. If the item is listed as an empty box that is likely what your getting. Any contacting the buyer through the message board can be monitored. The only question would be why is someone paying that much for an empty box. I have a three sets of these acquired from local estates and garage sales and have never heard of any bypassing the system as you are asking.

Hi,
I know that they are illegal in some states causing there to be a demand for them all of a sudden. Maybe the seller has just overvalued his box. That’s what I would be inclined to think.
Also, take a look at the shipping price. That might help you figure out if he/she is shipping just a box or something heavier. Good luck.👍🏻
