UPS is starting to add additional charges say things weigh more than they do, am starting to use FedEx even though little more at first but at least very few surprises.

Both UPS and FedEx likes to add extra charges after the package has been delivered.

Not sure, but I think FedEx is worst about it.

What is  going on  with extra  charges  , where  for  the fuel  surcharge  for  Rual delivery  or  surcharge for low delivery aera ?

Watch out, Fedex is even worse for that.

If you have  a package that is  over  1 lb.  1 to 10 Oz's than  fedEx  or UPS will  charge  2  rate .     Size of package  matters and  doesn't matter what the weight is .

Fedex is WAY worse. I used Fedex exclusively (except USPS when appropriate) for almost 20 years. They got so bad I switched to UPS and while I have a had a couple of price adjustments over the last couple years it has been nothing like the nightmare Fedex had become with almost every package getting a price adjustment.

It would take me quite a while each month to reconcile statements but is only about 15-20 minutes now that I am not having to change every line.
