its still a bit soon for the first frost here in PA

the first frost here typcially occurs around october 12 but with globel warming its been coming later like 10 days

I woud thing the oxe cart animals work better in the warm air so I would avoid using wooden carts with animals in the snow.

Slow boat from China is the most prevalent, it appears. Not sure it's really the best, though.
