Over the years, I've found a handful of my listings that sold with wrong shipping details. I'm 99% sure I messed up when I listed by typing wrong, remembering the weight/measurements wrong from table to computer, or I did a sell similar and forgot to change the info from my previous listing.
If there is a system wide change happening to this information, then I'm scared, otherwise I just get annoyed at myself.

You're not the first to report this problem. Could it be human error - yes - we've all done it but when people find shipping for multiple items changed - either when they used bulk editor - the change didn't stick or we have a glitch in the system. So everyone should double check.
I sold an item today that I was sure had a ship cost as I'd lowered the price by 1/2 - but the buyer is getting a deal as it had free shipping. We all have to double check to be on the safe side and it's easy to do in seller hub.

I also found this issue with items I'm selling. The shipping charge has changed from when I posted it to the buyers benefit.

Same issue here. I listed as priority mail. Ebay changed to media mail, $4.31 to ship 7lb package. If it qualified as media mail, the cost would have been $5.87. Instead, Priority Mail is $18.05. I'm eating the cost, not the buyer's fault. And going back to Etsy. Between the Ebay "automated listing' **bleep**, fees, and paypal fees, I can't afford to sell on here anymore.
