How is an older person who is self isolating to use a return label requiring a trip to the post office? I recently bought a fairly low cost item which did not work at all. I asked for a refund and printed a return label that requires me to go to the post office. Am I supposed to risk my life in a cramped and crowded room with no ventilation? Ebay told me to ask the seller to arrange a courier to collect it. I asked the agent whether she thought someone would pay for a courier to collect an item sold for less than nine pounds and had no reply.

It would be better to post on the UK eBay board. Your postal service and ours might be different. In the U.S. all you would have to do is give the package to your postal carrier, no trip to the post office needed.

If you are wanting to know if it's possible for you to get a refund and keep the item..the answer is NO..

@roomb121 Here is a link to the UK community. They can tell you how or if the UK postal service will pick up from your home. Otherwise, you will need to have a friend or neighbor take it to the post office for you.

Give it to your mailman when he or she delivers your mail...
