refund

I was under the impresion i was buying a faux fur cowhide throw. In the photos it covered the complete arm of a couch and hung over the edge. Laing on the floor it went from one end of the couch to the other and seemed large. when I got it it was so small it wouldnt even cover a baby. When I asked to return it the seller told me he would email me a label for the return where in response I clearly stated I had no printer, couldnt get to a printer. Would have to travel 20 miles to a printer and pay out 15.00 to get there. Plus the fee for the printing. I asked them to mail me a label which they refused to do. I actually spoke with ebay who refused to help with this .Saying they provided a label which in fact they did not,not one I had access to then told me I could pay for shipping. why would I pay for shipping when the shipping was for fre?,,,,,,,needless to say I will close my account if not refunded.

Sorry, but the refund label was provided to you; it's no one else's problem that you are unable to print it out. Nor will you get a refund without returning the item. The item's size was in the listing: 20x35 inches. Did you miss that?

So, it's up to you: either print out the label or pay to return it yourself.

The pictures in the listing are really deceptive. What is shown on the couch is bigger than the measurements given in the listing: 20 x 35 inches

The seller is listed as being in Indonesia. He is a dropshipper. Do your best to stay away from sellers that drop ship. They don't have the items in hand and rely only on what is told to them by the supplier.

You need to find a way to print the return label. Don't you have a friend, relative or neighbor that can print it out for you? Libraries have printers as do copy shops, some PO's, some grocery stores, etc...

If you want your money back, you must print the label and return the item.

Well, that could be a VERY small couch. 🙂 Regardless, the pictures are a bit deceiving. However, the exact size of the item is in the listing had the buyer read (or been able to read) the entire thing.

The seller did provide the label, it is not the seller's fault that you cannot print it and use it.  If there is a library in your area and if you have a thumb drive, you could copy it onto the thumb drive and print it out at the library w/o driving the 20 miles, pay for driving there and the cost to print it.  In the alternative, maybe if there is a Staples close to where you live, you could print it there (for a fee of course).  If you have a neighbor that lives close by, see they would let you print it from there.

Personally, if it were me, and I received negative FB, I would not offer to assist you in any way . . . FB should be the last thing to do after the issue is resolved - or no FB left.

Sorry for the above missed word

The seller probably copied the manufactures pics and they most likely have more than one size available and the size shown is clearly a much larger version than sold here.

The OP needs to read the listings and measurements.

I think the couch pictured is a love seat which is smaller than a normal length couch and will agree with @takikawa4 - the measurements were listed.

I do realize that not everyone has a measuring tape, but when I am shopping for anything online, I double check measurements prior to purchasing.

Slightly OT - my mother learned the hard way when she needed a new refrigerator and did not measure or have my father measure it for her (or maybe he did).  When the refrigerator arrived and did not fit, she told him "Henry fix it."  Well, he almost "fixed it."  He went downstairs, got the chainsaw and was going to saw her cabinet in half (LMAO).  Luckily my brother had a suggestion that worked and saved her cabinet.  So, if you have measurements, use them 😉

You need to understand that the convenience of shopping from home comes with the inconvenience of having to return items in order to get a refund. The seller fulfilled his obligation when he issued the return label. Lack of a printer is not his problem or ebay's problem. When you choose to shop online in the comfort of your own home without physically inspecting the item, trying it on, and so on, you are taking a risk soooooo.....with that said, figure out a way to print the label. Do you not have neighbors you are friendly with? You can download the label & print it out at someone's house. And then schedule a USPS pickup.

Neither do I, but if I want to return something for a refund, I know I have to ship it back.   It may be an inconvenience once in awhile, but that is the downside for having the convenience of shopping from home.

You've never stated whether you read the measurements in the listing or not.
