hello everyone, I wonder if anyone is having problems getting their orders from the sellers. I ordered an item the 24th of october 2020 and delivery date was dec 10th 2020 and now the time has been extended to march 2021 before delivery. with each extend it keeps me from contacting seller directly. any idea's?

Was this an order from China or a pre order? Has the item been marked as shipped? If it hasn't shipped, you can always send a cancellation request.

Who is extending the time of arrival? The seller?

If the seller is extending the time of arrival you might be getting scammed. You have up to 30 days from the Estimate Deliver Date (EDD) on your order in which you can file an Item Not Received (INR) claim with eBay under their Money Back Guarantee (MBG). Sellers often play this game so that the buyer's protection under the MBG expires.

But there have been HUGE delays with all shipping due to the pandemic, high holiday volume and worker shortages due to COVID-19. So that could extend the time it takes for delivery.

But with a purchase in October with a Delivery date of 10 December I wonder was this a purchase from overseas?

Finally eBay made some changes to their INR policy and time for delivery in an Announcement to sellers. Not sure if this applies, but take a look.
