I have seen where a customer can combine orders to ship together, however I am looking for something different and haven't found the answer.
My products are heavy, so I need different shipping prices if a customer orders more than one. I have a set shipping price for one jar, but when I have several jars, my cost per jar is not the same as with the first jar. With Etsy, I can charge a price for the first item and set a price for each additional item.
Is there a way to set this type of shipping charge?

Under the shipping heading Primary Service where you select what carrier you are using, then on the left you should see a field for Buyer Pays $ : .... Underneath that field you should see a field labeled Each Additional Cost $.
I see this on my desk top and haven't tried it on my cellphone. Sorry can't screen shot this for you. Hope this helps.

You can charge an 'additional' amount to ship items IF OVER 1 IS AVAILABLE on the SAME listing
(Like Charging $5 to ship 1 and $2 for 'each additional).
You CANNOT 'combine' (easily) if you are talking about a buyer buying from MORE than 1 listing
It's down at the bottom if you want to edit; to as pictured below
