Hi all, a simple question I have, if i bought a graphics card that says model A and in reality i got model B (of course model B is cheaper) should i be confident that ebay will return my money after filing a claim?
What happens with the shipping costs (back to the seller)?
Thanks in advance!

Step ONE
Contact the seller.
Come back if that gets you nothing.

Have you read the money back guarantee? If the item doesn’t match the description, you file a return request. The seller is required to pay for return shipping. If he’s in another country then neither he or eBay can issue a label so the seller has to send the money through PayPal and if he doesn’t, you ask eBay to step in.

"if he’s in another country then neither he or eBay can issue a label" - meaning?
Another question - when is the refund taking place? do i have to wait till the seller gets the item back?
Hi, @inadmin.
Yes, you would have to wait until the seller gets the item back before receiving a refund most of the time. It would go back to your original payment source (Credit cards take a little longer).

seller responded and said "it is your responsibilty to ship back the item to me"
People got nuts?

What country is the seller in?
What country do you live in?

The seller lives in the US and the product is also in the US.

File a SNAD complaint with eBay.

So i did a mistake and opened a SNAD with paypal. This closed the ebay claim automatically.
I was worried and called Ebay but they said nothing can be done and i should proceed with Paypal.
I escalated the claim in Paypal right away. Waited 10 days, the **bleep** never bothered to repsond.
The result - i got a full refund and the graphics card is still at the same place it was originally sent to...
i really couldn't care less but that's a bit odd - how did I get a refund if the card was not returned?

The seller probably didn't respond to PayPal.

Seller probably didnt want it back and just clicked refund.
Should they come back at you asking you to return the card, tell them to send a label and you will. Else, I would hold onto it for a month then toss it.

The seller did not respond indeed. It's a 400$ item i highly doubt he's going to just pass on it.
Is there any option for him to appeal? Are my funds safe?
