I have another thread going about the seller changing free priority mail to smart post.
It of course hasnt been delivered and today was the last date of delivery according to ebay.
I have gotten some ideas that all seem like good ones, though conflicting. so my new question
is How would you handle it?
I dont need it anymore, im going into town to get one.

Sell it yourself

To get my money back it would be priced to high to sell.

Ebay usually gives you ESTIMATED delivery dates. And what you do would depend on whether or not the seller accepts returns. If he does, just return for a refund. If he doesn't, then you're stuck with the item.

Then give it to a friend.

So I guess bait and switch on shipping is just good business?

And where did I say that? Or did you just assume that's what I meant?

I didn't read your other thread, but if I paid for Priority and the seller downgraded me to smartpost, they would certainly know about it and so would anyone who cared to read their feedback.

No. I think everyone here can agree that it’s poor business practice. I think you should leave appropriate feedback for the seller and either resell the item or gift it to someone 🙂

On the item that you purchased - does the ad specificly state it will be sent USPS Priority?

The OP's Seller spent more money on shipping FedEx Smartpost ! Priority Mail would have been cheaper for the seller .

Even if it does, per Trinton the shipping method is not part of the item description and the seller change methods! Not good IMO.

And I don't agree with Trinton on this.
