Trying to sell my vehicle. I just posted it up for live auction and noticed that the item location is an old address I haven't been at for years.
I immediately changed my address in my account, but there were no options in my revised listing page to change the shipping settings or item location.
I cancelled the auction and tried to relist.
STILL SHOWS THE INCORRECT ITEM LOCATION.
soooo... I need to A- get my money back from the canceled auction that was live for only 3 minutes. and B- figure out how my next auction will show the correct item location.
Any help is greatly appreciated . over 20 years on ebay and this is drivng me crazy. thank you for your time

You can contact CS but they are not required to do anything here. There was no need to end your listing. You pay a nonrefundable fee upfront to list vehicles.
There is an option on the listing form to update your item location. It's near the bottom of the listing form. If you're on the website you'll see a section called "preferences" below your shipping options. Click the edit pencil to the right and update your item location.

Hi @bonjourami - your info about listing vehicles is not correct. Seller pays nonrefundable listing fees upfront, regardless of the item selling or not.

If you canceled your eBay auto-listing before any bids or purchases were made, you won't be charged any fees, including insertion fees or final value fees. Therefore, you won't need a refund because you weren't charged in the first place. However, if someone had already bought your item, you would have to cancel the order and issue a refund to the buyer.
@bonjourami not on 'ebay motors' listing 'vehicles as there is an upfront listing fee for listing a car etc.
It is NOT refundable should you end the listing (whether you have bids or not, or even could be 'buy it now'- all the same)

I stand corrected.
