feedback

It seems ebay won't allow me to post negative feedback on a seller who agreed to refund my money & then changed their mind because it was over 30 days. I needed that much time to see if the product would work. I'm just upset that I can't leave negative feedback on a seller that tells you one thing & turns around & does another. Might need to take my business elsewhere !!

You have 60 days to leave feedback. You also have 180 days to file a "not as described" complaint with PayPal.

Can you leave ANY feedback? Positive or neutral? If you can't most likely the 60 days since purchasing have expired.

Based on your narrative, it sounds like it may have been a while since purchase.

No they will not let me leave feedback, won't let me edit the feedback I left, because it's just gone. ebay closed the refund request !

You can't leave feedback if you've already left feedback.

It was a few days after the "30" days when I messaged the seller. They apologized & said they would refund my money, a few days later they changed their mind on it.

So, you've already posted feedback, and it has been removed? You didn't say that anywhere in your first post. You said you weren't allowed to leave feedback.

I think you've not given a very clear picture of what has gone on with this transaction.

  1. When did you buy the item?
  2. When was the item delivered?
  3. When did you leave a feedback comment?
  4. Was the feedback positive, neutral, or negative?
  5. Did you leave a feedback comment? If so, basically, what did it say?
  6. Did you file a case of any kind? Request a return for any reason?
  7. If you filed a case, how was that resolved?

If you have already left feedback and it got removed then there is no way for you to leave feedback again.

Lets see if I can be clearer for you. I received the item on 4/24/18 I filed for a return 5/25/18 the seller agreed to send a refund, as I already stated I was past the 30 days. So on 5/26/18 the seller declined the return & ebay closed the return. I left negative feedback on seller communication. Now it's gone.

It's too bad they won't let say what you think. If the seller would have declined the refund to start with, that would be one thing. To agree to a refund & change your mind to me is dishonest. I myself never go back on my word. My word is my bond. Guess that's not the case with everyone.

You have 60 days to post feedback.  That is rather generous.  You have thirty days to file a case.  That should be ample time to know if your item is working.

If you go past either of these deadlines, then the time is up and it's done.

Sorry you waited too long.

You have 180 days to file a case on Paypal.  After that, your last option is your credit card company.

There is no need to take your business elsewhere if you know how the Buyer Protection and ebay policies work.  Most buyers do.  This is for your protection.  You need to know how ebay works so you don't run into problems like yours.  It's not hard.

Wow so close.  But it is thirty days.  They probably realized you were past the thirty day deadline when they changed their mind on it.
