I printed a couple labels before ever noticing that suggestion eBay has posted about considering a different carrier other than USPS ... I actually heard about it at the Post Office from a Postal Clerk .... THEY ARE LIVID!!!!
The solution is for eBay to DELAY Item not received claims from being processed by Buyers AND put a big note on the eBay Cart about expecting longer deliveries with ALL carriers NOT just USPS.
Gee, that would be common sense thing to do ... is that eBay's CYA statement so they can side with Buyers on INR claims in their never ending ongoing agenda to "Enhance the Buying experience by letting Buyers get as much as they can for free?

That's called "vulture capitalism".
When you "maximize shareholder value" at all costs, you end up with a hollowed-out middle class, zero real wage growth, and an ever widening gap between rich and poor where fewer and fewer people fall into the former and more and more fall into the latter.
Make no mistake, the bid to destroy the USPS is a money grab. It just also happens to be currently facilitated by an obvious political grab, at the expense of democracy itself.
It's beyond belief that this could happen in America. I fear that we are not who we think we are. This is a "break glass for emergency" moment.
Countries that lose what we are in the process of losing do not get those things back.

I do not understand that at all. Most people unless they are living in Timbuktu know there is a problem with deliveries.

Maybe the current residents at that very large house, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20500 never get mail/parcels with the USPS and just do all their shopping at Amazon. When you're the Prez it's important to have ummm connections. So no big issue for them. In his mind everything is PERFECT!!!

So does that mean I am working with a company that really could care less about me? I guess I need to do a reality check. You might be right.

Correct, its only the ones trying to get free stuff that make an issue of it via an INR at their earliest convenience ... but like I and other have stated, eBay can solve the problem by putting off the ability to file INRs ... I've had several customers let me know whipping is late in their state and more than one of those from North Carolina ...

The only problems I have had is with media mail to Alaska from Florida, and first class mail within the state of Florida. I can send a first class package to any other state in half the time that it takes for a package to get from the east coast to the west coast of Florida. I'm still waiting for a first class package that was mailed from Tampa to St Augustine via Orlando and Jacksonville on Monday.

They are starting to do protesting outside of Dejoy’s home now. That’s just great. Spread the virus even more with more protesting. In all my years I have never witnessed such disarray in our country. It’s a sign of the hard times to come. More and more of the wealthiest individuals tasking control of the country, businesses, until there will be no middle class, jut the poor and the rich. And a sign of God with a deadly Plaque.

That’s a good point. Most people understand and are willing to wait before pulling the trigger.

If certain states would let businesses open most of those people would be at work and not have time for riots ... consider New York City, millions living in high rise apartments ... the weekend rolls around and folks say, "hey, what do you want to do tonight?" Restaurant? Nope. A movie? Nope. Gym for a work out? Nope. A play? Nope. Visit relatives? Nope. How about a protest? Sure!!! They're open!
The saddest part of this entire thing is it's intentional nature and then it being used as a political weapon by a number of politicians while the vast majority of American from ALL Political Parties suffer ...

Yes, I'm sure my buyers would be thrilled to pay $8-$10 to deliver a piece of paper that USPS can deliver for less than $3.50, or in the case of my untracked account, 71 cents (55 cents for the stamp plus 16 cents for Lettertrack).
I can just see it now - Fedex would leave everything in the rain, and UPS would bend and twist everything into a pretzel shape, unless they decided to drive a forklift through it, although I do have to admit that the footprints they leave on the top of the box is a nice touch.

Yes, it's ridiculous to tell us to use a different carrier. For one thing, aren't we supposed to use the service we put in the listing? I'm not going to see many of my items that go 1st class sell if I have to add $8. to $10. shipping on top. This sabotage of USPS needs to stop, but unfortunately, a lot of damage has already been done.

I cannot remember who it was but it was some extremely wealthy young cyber entrepreneur who did a presentation awhile ago on how this country is going to be in big trouble if it keeps getting more and more top heavy. It’s going in that direction in leaps and bounds right now. Perhaps some legislation on these vulture capitalists might be a good start.

Oh dear - there must be quite a line-up of miscreants waiting for their punishment. And probably a few masochistic hopefuls mixed in.

Donnie Boy is no fan of Jeff Bezos so I can promise you they ain't ordering anything from Amazon.

You have Fedex and UPS pegged! USPS is still the only Trusted Service in this industry.
