eBay may need to look into cheaper Insurance coverage

I insure all my packages.  Insurance cost is very high on eBay postage options in compared to other sites. Hope, eBay corrects this issue before Christmas season

I'm the person you asked the question to. 

My response is based on the fact that members reference other sites here on a daily basis. There's conversations comparing competitor site selling fees, policies, feedback, and, yes, even shipping policies. For example:

Mercari = 990+

Contact eBay and ask for a meeting with eBays top dog  to plead your issue or chime in on on the one of their live sessions with members.  This forum ain't the right venue to accomplish  your objective (just  buyers & sellers not the policy makers  -Khoros  is a company eBay contracted with to run/mange the Community boards - used to  some other company that did it) a eBay person may pop in but it is  infrequent) - in other words  you are

- Initial response to Buyers when postage is delayed 

- Coverage for lost packages

- Coverage for damaged packages

- Ease of mind for having a backup plan

I'll pay for that, anytime!  However, that's not the issue here
