Scenario: I create a new listing for an item. I enter the shipping parameters for the boxed item: weight and the three dimensions. I then select Ground Advantage for shipping choice #1 and FedEx Ground/Home Delivery for option #2. I save the listing and publish it. When I look at it or go back into revise it, my original weights and measurements are changed (always less weight and smaller dimensions) and Priority Mail is the only method shown as an option. I have to change it back to what I entered originally and THEN it works the second time. I have to do this every time I list an item. Any thoughts?

I see that you ha e 30+ listings. If you have not done so already, using Business Shipping policies is the way to go.

Our friend @wastingtime101 might have a tutorial available on this subject.

That's not how it's supposed to work (obviously). Which version of the listing form are you using @sweet-as-can-be ? App? Mobile web (on tablet)? Website (on laptop/desktop)? If on the website, are you on the quick tool or the business tool? (You can tell because on the top right you'll see a link to switch tools.)
If you could create a new listing and take screenshots of shipping wt/dim/service and post them here, then post screenshots when the info changes, perhaps we can spot what's going wrong.
If you're interested in using biz policies that lakefor mentioned I can provide info on that.

I switched to the **bleep** method and it appears to have worked. What I don't like is it doesn't give you a choice of selecting the shipping method when creating the listing. It just says USPS Parcel Select, which I thought no longer existed.
Any way, when I view the listing, it shows the two options I normally select (USPS Ground Advantage and FedEx Home/Ground) with the correct weight and dimensions.
Thanks for your help!

The only posts by members having 'issues' with listing and shipping are those that
1.) use 'shipping policies' (I recommend- don't)
2.) show more than 1 type of shipping (I recommend-pick one and stop 'offering' other ways')

OK, I think I get it. I edited the policy and renamed it and now see where I can change the options. I believe this is very helpful. Again, many thanks!!

That 'gum machine' will have 2 problems- sometimes it will show (for me in Nevada) the lower cost USPS $18 shipping cost and sometimes it will show (or on google etc.) the higher priced Fedex for $22.
The even MORE of an issue is you are selling it as 'used'. Used means 100% working. If it's missing weights then it doesn't work properly, and per your 'description' (which most don't read) you state it would be 'great for parts' (paraphrasing)
Basically, if it don't work 100% as it used to, then it needs to be sold under 'for parts not working' and NOT as 'Used'.
