Been trying to find the answer to my question about ESE. I understand that there is shipping protection on qualifying items that sell for $20 or less. My question is, does this include shipping charges? In other words, I sell an item for $20.00+ $2.00 shipping. Will the shipping option be available?

The ESE instructions are not clearly defined to exclude the shipping charge from the sale price when the $20.00 limitation is considered; but it sounds logical that the shipping charges would not be considered part of the item value for an insurance claim.

Agree with davycrockett and just wanted to add this question made me look up ESE policy and I learned it's $20 or less items but also a total combined order value of $50. Never knew that! Learn something every day

I sell many items for $19.99 + $1.00 shipping taking the total to $20.99 and am always able to ship via ESE so, no, the shipping charge taking the total payment above $20 doesn't affect ESE eligibility
