This message is for eBay policy makers. I do not have department store and do not sell new items with warranty. Preowned or used items have no business having a return policy. While the CEO makes 17 million dollars off the backs of sellers we are forced to accept new policy to scam more money out of our account. We are not allowed to do anything about returns. if one is opened the pay pal transaction is frozen and money is taken out to pay for a return label. It does not matter if the buyer sends back a empty box. We have to refund the buyer or you just take the money out of our account and do it. I spend a lot of time taking pictures, writing a description and packing a item if it sells

Ebay does not have seller protection. I do not accept returns as I am a small seller of vintage and antique items. My items are quality and I provide good, detailed pictures and information in descriptions.
Just had a SNAD opened against me by a buyer who claims that, get ready for this, my pictures made him think the item was larger than it was! Thus I defrauded him through my pictures and description. This even though the size of the item was clearly stated in the offering. He also feels he paid too much for the item (hint, hint, wanting me to reduce the price) and wants a full and complete refund! So, I am getting the AS DESCRIBED and CLEARLY SHOWN IN PICS item back and losing money thru eBay. The best ebay will do is tell me to file a complaint against the buyer which does absolutely NOTHING.
I did absolutely nothing wrong in the offering. It is the buyer who is the problem. But I suffer because I lose money.

Oh, haven't received item back yet, but I expect something completely different from what I sent out due to what he is talking about. The ole switcherroo by the buyer and then using ebay to get what basically is a five finger discount on the item.

Just wanted to add because eBay wanted to kick me out before I could finish. After all the work that it takes to take pictures, load up, crop, write a description I spend time and money packing and boxing a item when it sells. Pay pal and eBay take there %. Then a label is payed and printed. Add overhead cost and now 25% or more is gone out of the total. eBay money back allows buyers to use any excuse for a return. The return policy is a legal scam that sellers have no option to fight. Take money out of your account with no option for you. Good luck trying to track down any accounting of what is going on. All the while Pay Pal and ebay are making money. The last 2 returns I had to call to even get my fvf back. Forget about the pay pal fees, return label fees and all the lost time and money spent listing the item. My blocked buyer page is about full. That is what they tell you to do if you have a problem with a buyer. There is no seller protection!!!!!!!!!\
