can you change the shipping method?

I use Endicia but they are down right now so I printed labels off Ebay. I ran into one issue. The buyer had selected Media Mail which is what I offered. The box was heavy though and I would normally have checked Ground Advantage to see if it's less expensive. But the ebay page had no option to do that.  Are we able to change the shipping method for labels? thanks

You can upgrade but you can't downgrade from what is in the listing.

Since GA is an upgrade from MM, I'd think you'd be able to change it. Tick 'Compare all services' at the lower left of the label page and see if all the other services show up for you. Good luck.

I tried that. I guess it's a "downgrade" if GA is cheaper than what they paid for MM? I can see how ebay would not like this. If I switch to GA I refund the savings to the buyer but Ebay doesn't know that.

No, "downgrade" would relate to a slower shipping speed. So Ground Advantage, which eBay categorizes as "Standard," would be an upgrade from Media Mail, which eBay categorizes as "Economy."

Since eBay classifies Media Mail an economy service you can use any service you want.

If they had selected Ground Advatage which is a Standard service, using media mail would be a violation.

Sellers must not:

• Use a slower shipping service than the one selected by the buyer

It's okay to change because anything besides Media Mail is an upgrade.

Next time Endicia is down use PayPal Shipping. They discount labels, too.

Paypal does still offer shipping but it's no longer PP shipping. They use ShipStation.

They selected Media Mail. When trying to print the label I saw no way to switch to Ground Advantage.  It wasn't in the list of options. So I am confused.

I've never not had it be in the options.

My options usually show everything.

The amount of times I upgrade media mail to ground advantage is a lot.

Do you use shipping profiles? If so, if the listing profile with only media choosen, I do not know if you can choose another shipping service when using Ebay labels.
