can we still use the 10x13 First Class Mail envelope for Ground Advantage shipping?

anybody?  can these envelopes still be used?  thanks

AS long as it meets the criteria for ground advantage: rigid, lumpy, or 3/4" thick or over.

thanks!  I'm not seeing the problem with them, but the woman at the PO says no, others have said Who Cares?  LOL

I've been Xing out the First Class Mail, so what's the problem?

Many USPS employees make up their own rules, or stick with obsolete policies. You might ask a supervisor or the Postmaster to give her a second opinion about use of "First Class Mail" envelopes.  The only USPS packaging which requires a specific service is the Priority Mail boxes and envelopes which USPS provides.
