Had a package returned for "No mail receptable". Buyer now wants it sent to their PO box the next town over. I go to 'get another label' and then 'change address' and it lets me change every field but the zip code, which means I can't change the address. Never used to be like this.

I don't know why I didn't see this thread three months ago; I know it's an old one, but I might as well respond anyway...
The ZIP code is updated when the rest of the address is validated against the USPS database during the label purchase. It doesn't matter what ZIP code is showing prior to that point, because USPS doesn't rely on the buyer to have it down accurately, or even completely. (Notice how a buyer's Ship-To: address with a 5-digit ZIP is magically expanded to a ZIP+4 code when the label appears. That comes from USPS once the address given has been verified as deliverable.)
