Hello,
I have a question about mailing a package that is going freight forward. I usually don't use an eBay label.
I decided to walk my package to the post office and found out the address I am sending package to had the wrong zip code. My question is if I used an eBay label would the correct zip code and address come up or will the incorrect zip code and address come up as per the buyer in his address on eBay? And should I tell the buyer address zip code is incorrect or wait until my package is there? I figure if there is a problem with my delivery I can always say address was not totally correct.

Due to the volume of mail @12345jamesstamps freight forwarders are assigned their own zip code for the warehouse. But their office has a regular zip code, different than the warehouse.
So buyers using a freight forwarder do that on purpose -- switch those zip codes in order to attempt an Item Not Received refund request, when the "Delivered" in tracking shows the other zip code.

If it's going to a freight forwarder, wouldn't the shipping address have the zip code of the FF, not of the actual purchaser?

Zip Code of freight forward to Delaware was incorrect on the eBay address.

The address is wrong. I wonder if that was done intentionally by the freight forwarder so if a seller fixes it, then the seller loses his/her protection. This mistake should be reported to ebay.

Hmm There is the use of old zips that are then shown as forwarded to correct zip: this will get you as the seller a situation of not delivered. Old scam.
Cancel sale due to address.

I was able to take a photo with postage and tracking on it for extra protection at the post office. Not many post offices will let you do this. It wasn't a lot of money so I can afford to lose it. But I want to see what happens for future reference.

I brought a QR code and a package to a post office counter. When I asked if I could take a photo of the package with the just-printed label affixed, the clerk flatly said no, and handed over the receipt.
Aside, someone asked here and the reply was that a label can be printed from a QR code at a self-service kiosk, but I tried holding the QR code in front of its scanner using the Prepaid Label option on the touch screen, and nothing happened. Has anyone been able to get a label from a QR code at an SSK, and how?
