All United States post offices are closed tomorrow in observation of President George Bush's funeral. Will eBay do the right thing, or am I going to be penalized with a late shipping defect? They've done it to me before when blackouts, storms, or other events have closed our local post offices.

Even though eBay clearly stated on Dec. 4 that the post office closure on Dec. 5 would NOT affect late shipments (see below) they STILL added a sale from Dec. 4 on my late shipment report. So I would advise ALL sellers to double check their late shipment reports to make sure eBay didn't add Dec. 4 sales to that list.
"USPS has announced very limited operations for December 5, 2018, in observance of the National Day of Mourning for the passing of President George H.W. Bush.
As such,
eBay will automatically protect your Seller Performance and your late shipment rate will not be impacted for USPS shipments during this closure (any defects incurred will be removed and correctly reflected in your monthly seller evaluation)."
Ebay strikes again!
