Ive began a dispute and asked ebay to step in to help. I received an email stating i need to send the item back and provide a tracking number which Icant get due to the fact that the item i purchased wasnt physically sent to me. Selleremailed mew the pin number from the verizon card and the number wasnt any good! what do i do now to make sure ebay understands theres nothing to ship back????

For future reference, you could have simply opened an item not receiveg (INR) claim. A sold ebay item that is not physically shipped with tracking would be considered not received.
This time, do what crab590 said. The "with tracking" is important!

Digital items aren’t permitted to be sold on eBay and aren’t covered by buyer protection or seller protection policies.
This is a lose lose situation.
