I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me why these locations are listed as excluded on my listings when I haven't specifically excluded them?
Barbados, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Guadeloupe, Martinique, New Caledonia, Reunion, Ukraine, Venezuela
I was just updating my excluded locations because I noticed many of my listings had random exclusions that didn't make sense to me, especially with newer international shipping options. After editing my list and relisting a couple things, the list of exclusions in my listings was updated, but there were still these random locations excluded that were not excluded on the master list. Anyone know why? It's always these ones. Like, I get there could be issues with Ukraine and Venezuela, but I didn't exclude them, due to the eBay International Shipping option. Honestly, I don't expect to ever sell to any of these countries, as I never have sold outside of the usual few in 10+ years, but I'd still like to understand why it's happening.
Also, can anyone make it 100% clear to me what the difference is in picking locations from "Ships To" under your main international shipping service, versus picking them from "Additional Locations (Optional)"? Like, how does it actually differ / appear in your listings?
I feel like I used to be able to see these locations displayed differently in a listing, as normal shipping or ask-the-seller-for-a-quote-first shipping. Now everything is lumped together, including every place you didn't pick but didn't exclude, it seems? So what is the actual difference when choosing from these two lists? How does each of the three options (normal international, additional locations, not excluded but not specified) appear to buyers?
