Tracking info no longer appears for items I've purchased, it says the 3 items I purchased from 3 sellers were shipped but I'm no longer shown the tracking number so I can't click it to see its progress! Are people at eBay just sitting around thinking of things to change to make our experience as unpleasant as possible?

Some sellers do not enter the tracking numbers, for some reason. There is no eBay policy that requires a seller to enter the tracking number, as that is more for the benefit of the seller, than for the benefit of the buyer, especially in an "item not received" case.
However, the items which you have purchased should all show estimated shipping dates. If any of your items should not be received by those dates, you may enter an INR case against the seller.

Tracking no longer showing for all purchases, or just some? How long ago were those purchases?
I still see tracking numbers on my Purchase History or Summary page for items going back four months, at least for those items where tracking numbers were available. For older transactions, the tracking status still shows on the order details page, as far back as January 2020 for me, though I doubt the numbers are still valid for more than six months.
If you still do not see any tracking info, try another browser to rule out browser issues.

I haven't purchased anything in the past few days ... but all the items in my Purchase History still show tracking numbers. Where are you looking for them?

[You thought that eBay was removing the 'number of search results' a few months back, which wasn't accurate. Glitches abound on eBay ... but it's not a 'change' that eBay's made intentionally.

A) How else do I answer your question? They were there, now they're not.
B) They were removing search results, that was accurate. They changed it back after the backlash.
If you're not having the problem that I posted, why are you even replying?

My purchases after January 1st 2022 don't show tracking numbers. My purchases prior, from December 24th and before, still show tracking numbers with a clickable link that shows shipping progress, as it always had. Not a browser issue.

I'm sorry, this must be frustrating for you. I can tell you that I also see tracking for both my purchased items and sold items just as usual, so no changes on my account. I don't see why this would be isolated to you only and not seeing others, as yet, posting with the same issue. Are you using a desktop or tablet? Are you using the phone app?
Maybe try switching browsers to see if it kicks back in. Maybe log off and back onto your account. Just throwing out ideas to assist you is all. If you do resolve this please come back to post as it may help others with same issue. Best of luck to you....

My purchases after January 1st 2022 don't show tracking numbers.
Do you recall seeing tracking numbers for those particular purchases earlier? Is it possible that those three sellers simply have not (or not yet) added tracking, as others have suggested? Some sellers may ship with tracking, but not purchase labels through eBay -- in that case the tracking is not automatically displayed unless the seller takes time to update manually; some sellers may send a tracking number through messages -- particularly if you ask. If the sellers are new or inexperienced, the sellers might not realize that tracking has not automatically been included or that it would help them to include it.
If a seller is shipping from another country, tracking might not be available until the item reaches this country, if at all.
If a seller is experienced, the seller is much more likely to have the process automated -- though that might also lead a seller to not notice if there is an issue with tracking being updated correctly.
I have two purchases in January, and both show tracking in my Purchase History, so it does not appear that eBay has removed tracking information from the Purchase History page.
When you say it is not a browser issue, have you actually tried another browser to rule that out? It is possible that a change on eBay's end or a change in your browser version could alter the way tracking is displayed; if you are using an overly broad ad blocking rule, that could affect how certain page elements are displayed, for instance.

Where exactly are you looking?
Are you using Computer, Phone App or Pad?
I've done 6 orders since 1/1/22; 5 show tracking, 1 'delivered' and I'm waiting on the other 4, with one purchase being done today that does not yet show any tracking (typical).
This is on a computer.

This seems to be happening again. Just last week I called Ebay cs that the tracking I uploaded the night before went missing the next morning. Happens at least 5 times a month now.

I'm using both my Windows laptop as well as my Android phone and it's the same with both. I viewed with the Google, Firefox and Explorer browsers and it's the same. I haven't sold anything yet this year so I can't speak for that, but I'd assume I'd be able to view my sold item tracking info since it's automatically generated and added when I print my shipping labels at home. But the items I've purchased, after January 1st don't give me the information, it just says the items were shipped.

I had this same issue recently with an international sale ,where the package never arrived and they opened a claim. at that point ,the tracking was there,which I submitted it in response to the claim.But now that the claim has been closed, the tracking no longer shows with the claim,or with his order details. the only way I can find the tracking is by doing his name search under shipping labels. But its very strange and concerning that in the case and in the order details ,that the tracking number is no longer available.
