Hi. I'm trying to generate a shipping label and customs form for my first international sale. This eBay help page:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/international-shipping-rules.html
says, "For items that you don't sell through the Global Shipping Program, you'll need to fill out the customs form before you pay for and print a shipping label on eBay for an international shipment.
Some information on the customs form, such as address, is already filled out for you."
But in the section of that page called "Where do I find customs forms?", there's only a link (now broken) to a generic page on the USPS website about customs forms. There's no information on how to create the prefilled form they talk about.
I opened a page on eBay to create a shipping label for the sold item, but there's nothing on that page about customs forms. Due to the caution on the help page that I should generate the customs form BEFORE I purchase postage, I'm at a standstill. How do I get to the page on eBay that will generate a customs form and prefill the address sections?

u don't need a separate customs form, the ebay labels already include all info necessary, if u need me to upload an example, i will. r u using USPS 1st class int'l? priority?

Hi, Ezziee. Thank you for your quick reply! So the information on that eBay help page is no longer accurate? I don't have to create a customs form BEFORE the shipping label? It will all be on one form? I'll be using First Class International, so if you have an example, I would very much appreciate seeing it. Thanks!

yes, if u physically go to the post office, then u fill out forms, but not on ebay labels, will be back in a few mins to upload an example

you will fill in the type of item, qty, value, weight, but it's easily done

Oh, that's perfect, thanks! After I do that, I'll leave feedback for eBay that their international shipping help page is out of date.

when u click on 'continue', it'll take u to the customs form to fill out (very short form), then you agree and click on 'pay for shipping and print label'

Got it, yes, technically you're doing the customs form first, but it looks like you're about to complete the shipping label purchase, so it's confusing. I didn't want to click Continue until I understood how to get a customs form. Thanks again!

I'm a new seller and I specifically said "Shipping to U.S. Only" but as luck would have it, I now have a buyer in Puerto Rico and although it's technically U.S., as a territory, it seems I still need to fill out a customs form. I filled out all the info for the customs form but when I go to the next page to print out the postage and the customs form, it just prints the regular postage as if I'm mailing within the continental U.S. Am I missing something?

Please ignore my previous post. I just found a thread that says this is an eBay glitch and no customs form is required for Puerto Rico. I thought the customs form was odd but regulations do change sometimes.

Three months and this is still not fixed. This just happened to me too.

It's an Internationally standard CN22 - Customs declaration form.
Surely these are freely available at any post office.
I get padded postal bags delevered here with the form already printed on the envelope, ready for the sender to fill in manually.
Whats with the need for small time private sellers to use printed labels over there?
The parcel addressing and CN22 form could have been done quicker than try to get out a 'how to do' reply.
