What's the real reason UPS??

This is a package coming to me.

UPS notified me of a delay … looking at the tracking there are 3 different reasons listed

"Package lost due to stolen vehicle or robbery" (!!!) was first … followed by "Emergency or severe weather" and then "Late Trailer" was the final designation.

What happened here, really? (Truck robbed causes emergency causes late trailer?)

Call UPS. EBay (or the seller) has no control over UPS delays.

Not the point.

I'm a seller.

I wasn't complaining about the seller … just wondering what the heck was up with that … I've never seen that type of reason codes before

I currently have a package that is going back and forth between Philadelphia and Buffalo.  Was sent priority and should have been delivered yesterday by eBay’s estimated delivery. USPS delivery date was 8/2. Been to Philadelphia 4 times since I shipped and to Buffalo 3 times AND the destination is not Buffalo...lol

I would still call UPS and see if you figure out what is going on for your buyer.

I’m guessing mid-scan. The changed reason in a minute. I received a weather alert from UPS, but it was in IL on Aug 6. I’ll have to ask OH when he gets home. He’s a ups driver.

Sounds like it is all 3 of them to me.   The trailer is late due to a standoff, robbery gone bad which in my book would be an emergency situation.

Your package was scanned going into the shipping container that travels from one sorting facility to another. It was not scanned coming out anywhere else (yet), so until it is scanned directly, the tracking will continue to follow the container on its regular route.

Once the package is directly scanned again, tracking of the container will cease. The package will probably turn up soon.
