What is your plan for shipping logistics during holiday season?

Last year was a nightmare so I want to hear some insight from other sellers on what to do for Q4.

USPS was so delayed last year that Priority Mail shipments sometimes took 2-3 months to deliver.

To avoid last year's nightmare, I've been planning to use solely UPS and FedEx with excluding US Protectorates and Alaska/Hawaii as USPS is the only cheap courier to those areas.

Happy Veteran's Day!

My plan is to shut down until next year and not worry about shipping.

Have a great day.

Missing out on some serious Q4 sale innit? Maybe increase pricing to cover the more expensive UPS/FedEx rates.

No changes ... from our location (which is near major USPS processing centers), it is incredibly rare to have a package delayed for more than a day or two.

I know others have had problems, so I suppose it really depends on where you operate.

I don't use UPS or FedEx and don't depend on sales from Ebay, so I'm not to worried about it.

Plus, most of my sales start in late January and February so I won't be missing much.

Have a great day.

I'll do nothing different. November shipped 28 orders (closed big portion due to moving) and 74 orders December. 100% shipping USPS and 100% no problems.

In fact, no problems from Cali or NV with about 90% of orders going East of the Mississippi; since 2011 shipping about 50 per week via USPS.
