What happens when we can't buy and print labels due to major internet outage?

I can't buy labels on eBay.  I would go through PayPal or USPS, but both sites are also down.  Will there be strikes against my account for shipping late?

Those site are up, but due to a major Comcast outage, many people can't reach them. I was able to connect to both. eBay's actions will probably depend on how long the outage lasts.

I'm assuming this is hypothetical?  You could of course just ship at the nearest Post office and send eBay the tracking# when the outage is over.

Aren't retail prices a bit higher than the Commercial Plus rates we get through eBay?

I hear your pain and wanted to share it. So it started around 11am this morning. I have Comcast. One of Comcast's large backbone network partners had a fiber cut. I could not access my Ebay, Ebay Community, my Account or Ebay ship. No Twitter either. Other websites worked. Interestingly I could search and view listings but couldn't buy anything with buy it now. So diagnosis time. I turned off office WIFI and enabled hot spot on the cell phone. Everything such as Ebay with all functions and Twitter works. You can enable hot spot on cell and do your magic with Ebay shipping. Now use WIFI printer offline while you are on hot spot then connect to WIFI and online the printer to print. Now you are not doing anything physical with the WIFI printer just the printer queue in Windows or whatever OS you are using.

Next I rebooted the Comcast routers since DNS servers needs to be refreshed. The router picked up a different set of DNS and I was good to go with the WIFI. All Ebay and Twitter worked as before. Any questions please ask. I run a datacenter and I am the resident guru here at office.

Yes. Internet outages are no exception. You can still buy labels in person. Do you have a mobile device? Try buying the label on your phone or ipad, save it to a thumb drive and print it out at the library. Or maybe there is a shipping store in your city? Or just pay retail at the PO.

Be resourceful ...go to a pack and ship location, USP, FedEx, OfficeDepot etc and use a computer there and print it.
Have a friend allow use of their computer and print it
Go to the postal carrier and ship it directly from there and enter the tracking when you can.

There are other option beside using your computer....and you can log into ebay from almost anywhere

Unfortunately my phone is not supported for tethering by Cricket Wireless at this time.  I could have rooted it and used a 3rd party app perhaps, but it was about 10-30 minutes after I posted this message that the backbone had been repaired and my access to PayPal and eBay had been restored.  I think I might root my phone today so I will be prepared for the next time poop hits the fan.  Thanks for the tech help, globexk!

I know this was an option, and I appreciate your suggestion.  I have really bad agoraphobia and so many things that were stressful happened yesterday.  I had a migraine coming on.  Plus, when I drive on the verge of having a panic attack, it poses a danger to myself and everyone on the road.  I was trying to avoid that.

buying labels should have the option to pay after the funds have been received sometimes this option is available but not all the time but why not I mest up an bought the wrong label now I don't have enough funds to buy the right label now I need to find a place to add mo money to my card very frustrating . dam u people changing things allways
