After 17 days of no record, a package finally arrived at a buyer`s local post office. At 6 AM, the package was out for delivery, and at 8 AM it arrived at a different post office with a different zip code (not the buyer`s zip code) in the same city. It is in Transit again. It went out for delivery from correct zip code, but then arrived to another zip code.
What else expect from USPS? The package was not delivered still.
P.S. Washington state.

I don't believe for a second the seller is deceiving you. Postal workers are refusing to scan them in. Give the seller a break.

There is an extremely high chance your packages get a scan in next few days. There has been a general delay of about 2 weeks and your packages almost hit that mark.
The closed case is common by USPS right now. They simply close them to get you off their list. They are not going to look for anybody's package. All are delayed so be it.
Its frustrating although your all good. Dont refund automatically in any way.

They (bot) simply close the case because as stated by the poster............. USPS has never scanned it. Auto close, as would be expected.
I have opened 5 missing mail searches. 4 are still open. 5th was closed as the item emerged from the missing, and was delivered.

Many are closed just because.
I have had it happen in past year. You get no call, no email, nothing changed in scans. It just appears and that's that. Package gets delivered in another week or 3 and you can see scans for movement. That's USPS
