Hi,
I have been using the Application of KiTracking for years now to automatically communicate to my Buyers the detailed information about their purchase & most importantly the tracking # of their package.
This Software Application will no longer be available starting in November.
I have gone directly to the Software Application website available, but they do not have an option for automatically sending out tracking #'s to my buyers once I ship their package.
They offer a "Thank You Note" to the Buyers. However, from a Customer Service perspective, I want all of my Buyers to have access to the Tracking # of their package just in case they want to check on the delivery status themselves.
Is this impacting other Sellers & what have you found as a successful different option??

Maybe I'm missing the point of using a tracking service but doesn't ebay send the buyer the tracking number once you enter it or print the label via ebay? Buyers can then follow the package's process through their purchase history.
If you are referring to providing email updates as the packages moves along, I would actually find that annoying as I don't need to know where my package is every step and if I did, I would check on ebay.

Thanks for your reply. No, I am not referring to emailing Buyers the movement of their package. (Agreed, extremely annoying & would never do.)
eBay has always said they email Buyers the Tracking #, yet they do not. When I purchase something myself, I never get any type of notification regarding the Tracking # & it's been that way for as long as I've been a Seller here for 10+ yrs.
Yes, you are correct. All Buyer can access the Tracking # by going into their "Purchase History". However, so, so many Buyers do not know that. Then also the majority of my International Buyers. So that's the reason why I use the KiTracking App.
Also, it gives me the opportunity to make sure every Buyer of mine receives communication along with the details I want them to know. I believe it helps when it comes to Customer Service / Satisfaction.
(Since KiTracking is no longer working, I barely receive feedback.)
Wait ...... now that I'm thinking about it, I can switch over to the new App & opt for sending a "Thank you" message. From there, I can direct the Buyer of getting the Tracking # by simply clicking onto their "Purchase History" tab.
If I can't find any App substitution for literally emailing my Buyers their Tracking #, then I can fall back on your suggestion. It will take care of my "Communication" & then I will include all of the other details I currently send to each of my Buyer.
