As such, sellers should not be allowed by ebay to list WINIT as a 'carrier', or the number they provide as a 'tracking number' as it is clearly not one as it does not track.
WINIT itself provides a page-long "Please Read" describing themselves as a freight forwarder when you go to attempt to track and trace your item from China.
I wonder if ebay can advise or prevent sellers from entering non- carriers as carriers?

Tracking is NOT a requirement of any seller on ebay, unless the estimated delivery window has passed and an INR case has been filed.

there is nothing wrong with that. There is tracking, you have it in front of you so you know where the package is. Would you rather the seller not use winit and there be NO tracking info period? Because China post tracking rarely works and if it does, it doesn't work until it reaches the US. You should just stop buying cheap junk from China if this is that much of an issue for you

When you pay the upgraded rate for tracking, you expect tracking.

Did you even look at your screen shot? It clearly shows the tracking, at the bottom.

Misjen, you may be misreading. Or you see sommething I do nor? The large number in the tracking square at the top is what I provided, given by my seller. Below that are the results of my tracking attempt, the same two numbers coming back identified as both order and tracking number. If you'll notice, the results, or tracking information' goes from latest date (top 20th) to earliest date ( bottom, 18th)), with the 20th showing that winit has passed it on to Hong Kong Post, where it will be no longer trackable - it is not and comes up as unknown and never received, I have tried. I was not surprised because it did say that hong kong post was going to be a non-trackable service but tried anyway since this is the only sort of number I received from the seller. Je suis tres desole.

I believe in my case it was at least 2.5 months, I had given up on it and got a refund, and was shocked as ol' heck to see it in the mail.
I sincerely hope you don't experience such a delay!

And of course you are going to do every thing you can to pay for the item assuming you are keeping it.
Right?
