Usps package pickup request not working 6/15/2025

Anyone else having issues today with scheduling a package pick up on USPS.com ? 6/15/2025 stuck in downloading mode, filled out form many times yesterday and today, with same issues. “ Downloading “  only, never getting a confirmation.

Did you read the post?

He is not having problems with getting a pick up.  He is having problems with the USPS site SCHEDULING a pickup request.

Two very different things.

There are many reports that package pick up scheduling is not working.

I tried on a couple of different browsers and computers and could not get it to schedule a pick up.  Same thing: Downloading.

What question did you have?  The USPS site is not letting users Schedule a Pick up.  

If you are not trying to schedule a pick up you would not understand, apparently, obviously.

You can't do a same-day pickup request, why do you guys even think that?  The OP is talking about trying to schedule one for tomorrow (or some other future date).  
But @lave_5274  you already made a post just like this about an hour before this one.  Don't do that.

Maybe not one is working at or in the USPS on a Sunday...maybe website is currently off on a Sunday.

Sorry about the wrong info...I am used to taking myself to mail packages.

You seem to be the only person understanding the issue, thank you! I’m not asking for a same day pick up, I’m requesting a pick up from the post office website for the next day…. I’ve been doing it this way for about 4 years now, the post office has had this issue before, about 2 years ago as well, Right after usps did a general maintenance on their website this same issue happened. What I’m asking is ANYONE ELSE HAVING TROUBLE WITH USPS.COM WEBSITE FOR PACKAGE PICKUP REQUESTS? 
I’m generalizing my question to see if it’s just me or is it a country wide issue.

It's not working for me either.  I'm not sure if you're mis-remembering the 'word' showing that it's stuck, but for me it's 'Processing' not "Downloading."   The little progress meter keeps filling/emptying over and over, but it's obviously not gonna work.  

By the way, I don't see any kind of 'Maintenance Scheduled' banner on any of the USPS pages, whether or not I'm signed into my Informed Delivery account.  So there's no obvious reason for scheduled pickup to be inoperable.  But I have definitely encountered it before.  Usually only lasts a day or two, so hopefully it won't be any longer this time.

Hi, you’re right, processing is the word, sorry…. I just went to the USPS website and it is back up and running now. I got the confirmation and all is good. ( 6/16 ) I thank you for checking it as well, I was worried it was just me it was happening to. All is good as it should be.

When I originally did the request the website had the red banner on Saturday saying the website was doing maintenance and that some items wouldn’t be available. Yesterday the banner was gone but the package pickup request was still un Operational to complete the request. 

I appreciate you and thank you for verifying the issue…

Hi, just did a package pickup request Monday 6/16.. It’s back up and running now,with the request confirmation. Looks like they will be going out for you tomorrow unless you go to the post office with them today. As for my packages I scheduled them for tomorrow pick up.

It’s working now, ( 6/16 ) I just scheduled a pickup for tomorrow.
