I made a dumb mistake and swapped 2 shipping labels. The small package went to the person in the US who ordered a golf club. The golf club which was 45" long is at the hub now. I need to stop that from being sent out but can't find a way to get in contact with anyone from ebay that knows what they're doing or how to reach the shipping company. One would hope the shipping company might notice that this package isn't 7" long, but is actually 45" long and can't possibly be the hand cream that was ordered, but I won't be surprised to find out that I get charged for more shipping fees. What I've learned so far: my ebay rep gave me the wrong number for the shipping company, but gave me the number for the company next door. When I finally was able to talk to someone there, they told me the company (next door) that ships Ebay's orders out is called gosincro and they were positive about that. However, I cannot find any phone number to call them and reach a real person. Any suggestions? At this point, I've already refunded the golf club buyer, but it would be nice to get the club back. Oh and the golf club buyer was kind enough to forward the hand cream on - so that person will get it eventually. Thanks for reading through my long story.

The package should be inspected at the EIS hub and returned to you if it does not match the transaction.
If not, the buyer will need to file a Not As Described claim and be refunded.

Thank you - that is what the ebay customer service said, but I'm not sure I believe that they will check the package to compare it to what it is supposed to be. If they do, then that would be great!

They will assuredly check the package since the info has to go on the customs forms and it should be pretty obvious they don't have the right item.
It's whether they return it to you that I would question. In the case of unshippable items (due to regulation and such) I believe they just refund. Not sure what happens in this situation.
There's a phone and email for EIS in the order details. Couple of comments I've seen about them suggest they're likely to go unanswered though.

Package Intercept - Stop Delivery of Letter or Package | USPS
No clue if it would work in this situation but you asked for suggestions.

Thank you for that information! I didn't realize there was a phone number and email on the order form. I'll give that a try.

There is an email addy that eBay publishes for the EIS shipping, I've had to use it before. Unfortunately, it was so long ago, I don't remember it. It couldn't hurt to give them a heads up. @wastingtime101 may recall the addy. It's a group mailbox type thing, but I've had good luck with it the one time I had an issue.

I always thought of the EIS hub as kind of a black hole. Once the package reaches the hub, they don't want or need to hear from the seller.
Would be interested to know if there is an actual way to contact them if the need arises. ( I suspect, not)

It's called Sincro (gosincro is the website), but that's irrelevant and you should not be looking them up to reach out in that manner. That's not the official process.

As @bdmh-enterprises advised early on in this discussion, "There's a phone and email for EIS in the order details."
If @bluewolverine5 wants to try and reach the hub they should use the eBay International Shipping contact info on the order details page and no, they are not guaranteed to get through to anybody, but they can try.
