Had Package Weight And Dimensions Verified At FedEx when I dropped off, all was good, what can be done about this, underpaid charge was $18.18, how do you dispute this, bought and printed my label thru eBay. Are the shipping calculations wrong on eBay, Ship to and from address were correct. Thanks

Both UPS and FedEx are infamous for surcharges and a LOT of them have nothing to do with the size or weight. The link below has the list for 2024. I never use FedEx for this very reason and I have not purchased shipping labels on eBay in a VERY long time. I use Pirate Ship which has about the same, sometimes better, discounted rates than eBay and they also have shipper protection against surcharges. They however only offer USPS and UPS services probably due to the complexity of the FedEx surcharges.
I am not familiar with the FedEx dispute process on the surcharges, what was the surcharge for?

When you print FedEx labels on EBAY there is a disclaimer "additional charges can occur". FedEx and UPS are notorious for charging additional charges on EBAY. You can avoid this by using USPS (never any additional charges).

Hey @scrane2006! There is know issue with sellers being overcharged for FedEx shipping labels. There is a sitewide ticket open on this issue with our highest priority to resolve. I have this added to the Tech board and if yourself or other sellers are running into to this, I highly recommend reaching out to customer support and having your account and example of what item/ tracking this happened on to ALERT15247.

This just happened to me yesterday with a FedEx label. FedEx was going to charge me $15 less than USPS for a heavier/larger package, so I decided to use it. The weight I listed was 21.88 lbs, but apparently, they said it weighed 21.9 lbs 😑 they charged me an additional $24 when the original label was about $21.
When I went to remake the shipping label to verify, 22 lbs was still the same price as the original label I paid. I reached out to customer service who said they'd forward it to the shipping department on eBay for review. In total, FedEx charged me $10 more than the original $36 USPS label I was trying to avoid using.

Hey everyone, please note that due to a FedEx invoicing issue the week of March 25, 2024, some sellers were incorrectly charged for FedEx label adjustments. We apologize for the inconvenience, and eBay will refund these amounts within the next 5 business days.

Is there anything else I should do at this time. Thank you

Sure, USPS never does that. They also took over 2 months to deliver 14 separate packages, causing me to have to refund $400 to customers! They are all crooks!

Yep, this exact thing happened to me today and I had even looked up the shipping weight for my item and gave it a few lbs of cushion. Bought the label for $15 from FedEx instead of USPS because it was half the price "thru eBay", went to drop off the large package and FedEx charged me an extra $29.

same here, what could I do?

I stopped using the budget ground services from UPS and FedEx for this reason. I think it's a retroactive rate increase - they are fishing for extra money. I had several packages that supposedly had the wrong weight listed. The correct weight according to them would not have changed the rate, yet they stuck me with a significant "adjustment". Since I stopped using the crooks and have been shipping mostly USPS I have not had any more issues.
