USPS did not scan the package until it reach to destination city

USPS did not scan the package until it reach to destination city, it happened to me last year at Christmas season, USPS scan the (Shipment Confirmation Acceptance Notice)   PS Form 5630, November 2006, PSN 7530-08-000-4335  at the time of pickup the package but after they did not scan some of the packages when it reach to there distribution center and they finally scan the package at destination city and same day they deliver the package.

This cause Ebay to count as late shipment for the order which finally cause to loose the Top rated badge and status

I spoke Ebay Representative today to address the issue, they have also no solution for this issue.

Does any one have same issue?

ive had that happen a couple of times, but the pkgs arrived by the estimated delivery date..yours didnt?

This has happened to me before, The reason is that if the scanning bar has some kind of imperfection or is printed blurred or the print came out lite then the scanner wont pick it up. Then the Post Office has to manually punch in the tracking numbers which they do in the beginning and at point of delivery.
