USPS Tracking Number Shows No Tracking Details

I purchased two items a month ago and they were delivered, but the tracking # shows no information other than a label was printed. No scans, tracking details, or delivery.  

I'm having problems with a buyer, and simlarly, the tracking number shows no details. This was shipped 11 days ago. I'm suspecting it was delivered and the buyer wants a refund. He did mention the issue with tracking not working and being wonky as of late.

I ran the tracking numbers through USPS's website and the result was the same. I'm guessing USPS is having the issue. All my other tracking numbers are working, just a few are not.

Anyone have any info or experienced the same problem?

Go back to the USPS website and put a trace on the packages.  That will sometimes help to get that tracking popping.  I hope it helps.

Im confused, are you the buyer or seller? you say you purchased 2 items a month ago and they were delivered, so what do you care what the tracking numbers show? if you are the seller, how do you know they were delivered? did the buyer say he recieved them? assuming he recieved them doesnt mean he did if tracking doesnt show anything.

The point the OP is making, is that they sold something and the tracking isn't showing anything. They bought something a month ago, that had the same issue, so even if their item arrives, they have no proof because of a USPS issue.

Thanks for saying what I didn't want to say. It's frustrating when people derail a thread with questions that tend to lead the post off topic.

Back to the point. I spoke with a postal clerk and mentioned my issue. The clerk mentioned another customer had the same problem. Apparently, some tracking numbers are in complete limbo. The numbers show a label generated, and absolutely nothing else.

Anyhow, filing a trace online with USPS was simple and I'm waiting to hear back from them.
