USPS Tracking For Delivery Must Be Down

I am a seller and had about 12 packages being delivered today. Six of them were delivered before noon and they all say delivered. Six other packages planned to be delivered after that still say out of delivery and they are different  places around the country. Hopefully this is corrected. It's not just the ebay USPS tracking, if you go to the USPS website, they all say out for delivery and not "delivered". I am guessing many are having this issue right now on ebay.  Anybody else having issues with it saying "delivered" for packages that were supposed to be delivered in the afternoon or evening?  Thanks.

I don't know about your buyers areas, the post office in my location delivers mail up to 9pm CST. 
So it's quite possible those 6 packages will get delivered. There is always a chance those packages have been delivered, the delivery scans are just delayed.

I had 4 packages picked up by the post office, so far there hasn't been a scan yet.

Thanks. Most are in the East Coast that don't say delivered. Very odd to have this many packages that don't say delivered at 9:23pm et. Hopefully as you said the delivery scans are just delayed.

If something is out for delivered as stated in tracking...and it hasn't happened...it will happen the next day usually as out for delivery.

We have employees on vacations and employees on days off...thus we have some employees who might push items off on for the next day for delivery.

I feel like I work in the USPS, FedEx, UPS but I don't...I just talk to employees of USPS. FedEx, UPS.

I knew my mailman was off for 3 weeks per the temporary mailman...when MY mailman returned he told me about his vacation to Hong Kong and Japan...he mentioned Hong Kong was too hot.

I just get this weird feeling people are not friendly anymore...so sad.

I share your concerns...this is tracking from a package to be delivered in Texas. Ebay shows it's out for delivery USPS first shows out for delivery then says preparing for delivery. Lol workers at USPS are definitely confused.

I understand what you are saying, but this all happened in the afternoon/evening. I track my packages all the time and this is the first time this has happened that this many packages say out for delivery and none say delivered. I messaged one of my buyers who this affects and asked them if they received their package. My guess is they did and USPS tracking is having a major issue.

I see what you are saying. The top image is what 6 of my packages say right now "out for delivery" with no "delivered" notation.

If you want to be sure that you are troubled with useless problems and lose sleep- watch the tracking on packages. 

Best to just NOT look and don't worry about ANY of it until a buyer reaches out to you. 

Trust me. 100+ packages shipped a month since 2011.

I had 2 in TX. One just claimed to have been delivered at noon but it was tracking as out for delivery at 6PM.

Never ever email a buyer to ask them if they received an item unless you’ve been communicating to them about a special delivery or they asked to be informed beforehand.

My other package in TX was tracked as still out for delivery at 8PM but now claims to have been delivered at 1PM.

Yes, USPS must be having some kind of malfunction. I have a bunch of packages that still stay out for delivery on other platforms as well which sadly require delivery scan to be paid. I also had packages delivered to me yesterday and today and the one yesterday still says Al for delivery and one today was delivered over four hours ago and still says out for delivery
