USPS Major Delivery Issues to Customers.

Hi,

I am sure my fellow Ebayer’s are having major delivery problems with USPS even with Priority Mail.  Packages bought from Mid December are not even being delivered to the customer.  Tracking says in transit.  Customers are opening cases as they should for item not received.  Has EBay management posted anything on its website to notify customers of shipping delays due to the problems at the USPS.  
I hope they would or there will be a lot of cases opened.  I hope EBay works with us sellers as the USPS just published an article how they are 4 weeks behind due to employees out with COVID.   Will not be shipping USPS going forward until a later date.  Thanks.

In a capacity as buyer, I received a USPS tracking update on 12/26/ 20, priority mail package out for delivery.

I then received a tracking update attempted delivery at  7: 10 pm no access to delivery location, will deliver next business day.

 

Curious No visible evidence of anything that had or would prevent accessibility to my location on that day to the present. 

 

All USPS package deliveries of 12/ 28/ 20 onward have been received early or right on time. No delayed packages

 

I have sent USPS a email on their failure to deliver this long overdue package that was entrusted into their care & custody by the seller

USPS receipt of the service request was confirmed

 

Do you think I should reasonably expect to have this package in my hands anytime soon ?

Go to the USPS website an open a missing mail search for all packages stuck in transit.  That usually gets them moving again.  You can also sign up for text or email updates, which will also sometimes get them going.

You can open missing mail searches, but it does not do anything. No one is looking for your packages stuck in trailers. Things move occasionally, and people who file searches get confirmation bias and think their actions did something despite there being no causal link connecting the events.

I was getting email updates from the start advising it's transit up to & including will deliver next business day, the final update.

 

I believe there is a 15 day lost/missing mail waiting period on priority ?

 

Shouldn't the seller file , I can't describe the package, how addressed, don't have the seller address, don't know the am't of insurance coverage
