USPS Ground Advantage

Tracking is terrible and shipments are late a lot of the time, at least where I am shipping from.

I'm sorry you are dissatisfied. I only ship using ground advantage and I love it. All of my items have scans and nothing has been lost or highly delayed. I can only think of one item that was delayed for two days longer then delivered. Perhaps your shipping delays are related to your local post office? Best of luck to you....

Re: USPS Ground Advantage

If you have a lot of shipments going thru Memphis, that stop has long been a problem.

Must be an absolute gorgeous area where you reside as I checked it out on the map. That reservoir looks humongous.

And it will only get worse...Some locations are closing and being relocated to Tennessee per Postmaster General combining some hubs nearby to Tennessee.

Re: USPS Ground Advantage

The last I heard by our House Representative is that they were closing Knoxville and he was trying to stop it. But I would like to see their plan, we all know the postal service needs reorganized but their plan is top secret as usual. Priority mail and UPS are doing good.

Yes, I have had things lost in Memphis. And this is a nice part of the country. I have always been attracted here, people are friendly here and most of them wave at you even if they don't know you. Love it here.

Re: USPS Ground Advantage

My local post office is good, they scan it when they pick it up, the problem is you may not see where your package is for two days.I like to follow them and make sure they get where they are going so if their are any delays I can notify the buyer. I see the same thing on items I purchase. I do like the shipping cost of Ground Select.

Re: USPS Ground Advantage

I find USPS Ground Advantage to be a great success for me.

I know some of the sellers who only really did less than 1 lb first class lost a little.

But the gain for me is making parcel select work. A service that was ridiculous slow and no insurance.

I used to do almost all my shipping with UPS ground for packages over 1 lb.

USPS has taken almost all my UPS business.

Not saying service is perfect. I have issues with parts of FL, Miami area. And Jersey City Distribution has been very slow.

Palmetto that everyone was complaining about has been very very fast for me now. I hope they roll this out more places.

Ah, the 'DeJoys' of USPS Ground Disadvantage.  Nothing quite like watching a package take the scenic vacation tour of America you always wish you could afford.  😕

Re: USPS Ground Advantage

I have been selling online since 1999, and I have had many packages take the crouse country tour long before De Joy came along. Most of my packaes, and 62% are ground advantage, get delivered on time. But I build in a cushion by having 5days processing on all my items. that being said, if a order comes in early in the day, I will usually get it packed and shipped the same day. If it comes in later, the next. So all of m y packages get delivered in the delivery window time frame.
