USPS Delivery Issue

The last two USPS packages shipped to buyers in California with signature required show as “ out for delivery” for days now. Thankfully the buyers said they received them. Both were in excess of $500.00.

Not sure what’s going on. I’m paying for the  signature required service for a reason.

Anyone else having problems?

Re: USPS Delivery Issue

In addition to what others have stated, I've noticed that USPS tracking lately has been erroneous at best.

I've tracked packages that seem to bounce all over the country at the speed of light - latest one went from Memphis to Tampa in an hour, then landed in NY, where it seemingly got scanned and sorted in all 5 boroughs.

Definitely a glitch somewhere.

Re: USPS Delivery Issue

Signature confirmation is only required on items of $750 or more.

But if you paid for signature confirmation you should go to your post office with proof the items were delivered without a signature and get a refund.

Re: USPS Delivery Issue

I have received many packages that were never scanned delivered.  The postal system has been really slacking off on that.   Might want to use UPS or Fedex for high value items to be safe.

Re: USPS Delivery Issue

There are two types of signature confirmations from USPS.

There is digital or written. If you don't ask for written you don't always get it.

I notice the USPS site is a little more up to date and faster than on eBay site.
