Is there a way that when I purchase my shipping label through eBay that it can alert the UPS driver that I have a pickup that day? I see on the UPS website that is an option but not sure if it connects with eBay. Thank you!

There's no way through eBay to schedule that pickup for UPS. You can schedule it through the UPS site or if you purchase labels through one of the discounted sites like Pirateship. Please know UPS pick ups unlike USPS, are not free. The more you ship, the cheaper the pickup. If you live in a rural area, the cost is higher than in a metro area.

I was paying weekly pickup fee of $44 and was wondering if there was a cheaper way but sounds like there isn’t.

Depending on how many packages per week, that $44 may not be too bad a price per package. If it's just a couple, I'd go to one of the many drop off points. I have been going to CVS -- they are open until 11PM and they scan the packages and hand me a receipt. Sometimes I get lucky and the UPS person will scan and take them when dropping off packages. With the increase in shipping prices and packaging materials I can't justify the extra pickup cost. I am becoming a reg. at CVS. I do bring baked goods/fruit from my garden for the 3 ladies who are there late night and scan my packages with a smile!!!!
