It seems that I have big problem with intem that I bought here on ebay.
When I bought this intem seller provided me with a tracking number that stated that this parcel should arrive to me till 14th of may. I patiently waited for some notification from my local post office but there was none. I contacted the seller, because in tracking number he provided there was no currier- just my adress, seller adress, and dates about parcel movement. This tracking number shows that parcel has arrived at destination on 8th of may, but there is not a currier- so how can they can know that parcell is shipped to its destination? I contacted national
post office and all curriers that atmee partners to sellers local post office (even if generated tracking number clearly shows that this intem should go through national post custom)- there is no such shippment. They checked shippment on my name and checked provided tracking number- nothing.
is this a fraud? I have contacted seller multiple times so that he can provide missing information about currier. Things that he says are pretty weird- one day he said that he was in the post office and made sure that parcell will reach me in two days- that of course didn’t happen. Still no information about carrier. After these two days I informed him, that there is no parcell, that there is no such parcell in our country ( this was international shippment from Russia to Latvia) and he answered that he was in his local post office again and now they don’t know anythinh about this parcell and this is not uncommon in their country. But how can they don’t know anything, if tracking number shows that it arrived at destination? Is this really could be faked tracking information? How can I check? Seller provided me only with this russian site to track parcel.
I worry thay I may be involved in some great eaby scam. I investigated little deeper and it might be true, cuz when I won the auction and made a pyment I made sure that this seller is from Uk, later I found out that parcell is comming from Russia, now this seller seems based in US. I order everything in UK localy, because my sister in law lives there- so I thought that parcel will go to her in London, not to my international shipping adress which I use for chinese small stuff.
He has no selling deals, just 5 bought intems- as it seems for good feedback and rating.
In last messege he cindly appologised for this situation and promissed to refund, but of course, when I said that I want full refund (because it is ~400€) there is no messege from him.
I am really worried that when I will open dispute for refund, he will provide ebay this tracking number which shows that this intem is arrived at destination and I will lose my money.
how can I proove that I am a victim in this situation, because now seems that all odds are against me.
I really wanted this intem, and I would be happy that it would have truely arrived at its destination 😩
