I got a notification from ebay that my package shipping was updated.
I saw the updated details, took a screenshot, declared 11 lbs, I know it actually weighs less than 11 lbs, but rounded up to 11 lbs, FedEx said my package weighed 10.6 lbs, so they charged an extra $32, now the cost of this shipping is $49!
My package is not heavier or bigger, they just robbed! This robbery is protected by ebay, I don't see any way to appeal,

FedEx has been adding extra charges after the package has been delivered for years.

The billable weight of a shipment with FedEx is the greater of (a) scale weight and (b) dimensional weight, where dimensional weight is HxWxL/166. I assume the billable weight of 10.6 was based on the package dimensions, and not the scale weight.
Also, eBay's quote for FedEx shipping does not give you the actual shipping price because there are more pricing variables with UPS and FedEx than just weight and dimension.

That's a frustrating situation. I would contact FedEx directly to try and resolve the extra shipping charge.
Good luck these shipping rates are getting out of control.

- Explain the situation: Call or message FedEx customer service and explain that the package weight you declared (11 lbs) was rounded up slightly, but the actual weight (10.6 lbs) falls within the same pricing tier.
- Provide Evidence: If you have the screenshot of the original weight estimate, share it with them as proof.
- Request a Refund: Inquire about the possibility of a refund or adjustment for the overcharged amount ($32)
Good luck these shipping rates are getting out of control.
Not likely going to accomplish anything, FedEx (and UPS) will not talk to anyone but the account holder (eBay) or an authorized employee (of eBay).
What were the dimensions?
Many of your recently sold items would be calculated by dimensional weight.

FWIW, I did get a refund of $20 from FedEx for an item shipped with a label purchased on eBay. Called them on the phone and the agent tried to tell me that the added charge was likely because the item was poorly packaged and needed to be re-packaged by them. I knew that couldn't be true because I over-package like a maniac. She looked up photos on their system, admitted that the package looked the same when it was delivered as it did when accepted, and agreed to issue a refund. It took several weeks to get that, and I no longer use FedEx.

I was Up Charged 29.09 for a 9-10oz Gayla kite. They said the package weighed 35 POUNDS!!!
a 35 pound kite would be humungous.I paid $6.67 for it for its weight and length as it was posted and accurate.I called Ebays customer support and talked to someone twice (with bad broken english) I really had no idea what he was saying at times,Have no clue if I'm going to get a refund or not I just checked and it still shows the "Adjusted rate of $29.09" in my shipping label summery for that transaction.BTW had two more same thing but charges were 3.60 both times.BUT the item even at double the weight still only cost like .56 cents more.Someone needs to address this issue in a big way so we all know and can see what's gonna happen.NO FEDEX shipping for me anymore till it gets solved.

No matter what you ship, you might at random be billed for shipping a piano. With Fedex, do you feel lucky?

Until ebay corrects this technical glitch I use PIRATESHIP.COM for anything big and bulky
