Hi @niscostcity . UPS and FedEx both apply surcharges for poly/bubble mailers, depending on your package dimensions. They've done this for many years.
Please see the nonstandard packaging link in my signature below which not only provides those dimensions, but shows you how to factor in the irregular packaging / surcharge upfront so you are not hit with after the fact cost adjustments.
The other options include: shipping in a box or shipping with USPS.
