Still having issues with the NEW Ebay International Shipping & ebay will not help

Previously used the Global shipping program for the following category 

Home & Garden-Non-Alcoholic Drinks-Coffee-Coffee Pods

and sold something out of the country at least every day but then ebay decided to opt us in to the new international shipping program & take us out of global shipping 

but this category for some reason all of my listings show i do not ship out of the country 

its not a restricted category or restricted items  all the county's i used to sell to im getting customers asking why i dont ship there anymore 

called ebay 15 + times have to start all over every time & keep getting told its a glitch & will be fixed in 24-48 hours - but we all know its ebay & its never done 

anyone else having an issue with select categories on ebay not correct when it comes to international shipping ? or know who to contact that really understands at ebay & can help fix ?

devon@ebay  another seller with the same issue in a non-beauty category that @sapphire_studio and I are experiencing.  Apparently calling support is doing the OP any good either.  Not sure why eBay is allowing this issue to continue without focus on it as we are losing international sales and eBay is losing fees that would have been collected on those sales.

Yup.  That's why I came here.  I have about 350 listings for golf clubs and people in the UK and Mexico so far have sent messages asking me if I can enable international shipping.  As far as I can tell, it IS enabled on my end.  Before they made this switch I did a ton of international business and now I haven't had a sale since 2/20.  

Calling ebay customer service is obviously always a complete joke unless your purpose is just to hear how long you've been with the website and to thank you for your loyalty.  

This really **bleep** me off because I'm losing a lot of sales during the peak of the sales season for golf clubs.  Last month I was hearing all of the reasons why ebay's rate hike is justified.  Now that I've been cut off from the rest of the world for sales can I expect a FVF rate decrease?

Could it be a size issue.  The max in that program is 84" for girth.  I always get confused about how to figure out girth here is an example on usps on how to figure out girth.

Yep....i was told to email the eIS support team after I raised this issue almost 3 weeks ago.  The same beauty categories are still not allowing this while others are.  I have an item in a "broken" category in the wrong beauty category (accidental) but that item can use eIS due to the category.  So, this is not a factor of "not allowed items".  This is a category issue.  I did email eIS support team 2 days ago.  The response?  I was told to DELETE all my shipping policies even though the eIS support person said my policies where fine.  Why does my shipping policy in category x allow this while the same policy does not?  I was on GSP.  The messaging from eBay was I needed to DO NOTHING for the transition.  Now, I'm to delete all my shipping policies and start over?  How is that logical?  I have made 3 calls to concierge support, chatted via Facebook  messaging and also emailed eIS support.  I see no evidence that the technical team has been roped in on this ongoing issue that is impacting different categories across eBay (not all just some).  @sapphire_studio Are you fixed yet?  Or, are you still in the same frustrating boat with the rest of us?  devon@ebay   A little help as this problem is being noticed by sellers in completely different categories as you all roll this out.

No I am not fixed yet. I definitely haven't been fighting as hard as you to figure it out. I guess I don't have much faith that that I could speak to anyone High Enough who could actually make a difference and I haven't had the patience the last few weeks to even try. I'm scared of the emotions I will have speaking to them especially because I'm like 7 months pregnant and I'm trying to stay all zen. I was just hoping that since devon@ebay knows about it on here that would be enough to eventually get this glitch fixed.

@house_of_golf Dude, if I ever need clubs I will shop your store. I have 4 or 5 sets in the garage though.  I do like your store and will refer folks if I hear of people looking for new sticks.  Keep the faith.....eBay will figure this out.

I'm in a similar boat.  Despite the fact that I've sold about $7M worth of golf clubs on ebay since 2010, I know that the only person I could reach about this is someone sitting in another country who is reading from an instruction manual about how ebay works.  There is a 0% chance of me getting in touch with someone who can help or that I could have a constructive conversation with.

When I started on ebay they had someone who was US based that knew my account and I could occasionally bring up issues with.  It was great and extremely helpful.  Now they've done nothing but raise my FVF rate, tell me that I have to pay the shipping for buyers to return things that they misorder or change their mind about in order to get a fee discount (no thanks), and provide absolutely no avenue for me to reach someone about an issue.  

I've been selling on another website, Sideline Swap, for awhile and they're great.  If they're able to gain more popularity I might just move everything there.

An eIS specialist emailed me today and asked for sample item numbers in categories with issues.  I provided her my beauty items in the categories broken.  Plus, i included a couple of your item numbers in the golf clubs category for her to investigate as well.  

@sapphire_studio  Hopefully they will find the issue in the categories that aren't offering international shipping via eIS.  I loved GSP and hope this is just as good once they work out the bugs.

I suspect my issue has me involved with this *software bug*, and I am going to try tagging Devon in my thread but wanted to link it here and add the amusing explanation that support gave me.

"Yes, GSP supports shipping your item to Australia but does NOT support customs services to that country."

(USA indeed does support customs services to Australia!)

Sounds like they have built a configuration monster and forgot to build debug and test it properly. I say this both as a retired software QA engineer of 20+ years and the spouse of someone who worked 10yrs for the SYI team at eBay.
